Preparation
After greeting you, we’ll conduct a thorough risk assessment to ensure the safety of everyone on-site. We’ll bring all our own equipment, carefully placing it to avoid any damage to your property or garden. You can prepare by moving outdoor furniture, vehicles, and closing windows.

Initial Checks
We’ll lift the first few rows of roof tiles and disconnect any cables running along your gutters. We’ll then clear out debris such as moss and leaves to ensure a clean working area.

Removing the ‘Biscuits’
The ‘biscuits’—hanging plates at the front of your gutters—will be removed, and we’ll carefully cut the concrete guttering into sections for safe disposal. We’ll arrange a skip for waste, so you don’t have to worry about clean-up.

Installing the Timber Base
After grinding the concrete smooth, we’ll attach treated timber to form a sturdy base for your new uPVC guttering. This timber also acts as insulation, preventing warping and minimising future maintenance.

Fitting Your uPVC Guttering
We’ll install new uPVC fascia boards to direct rainwater into your gutters and prevent water from seeping down your walls. The new guttering will be securely fitted, with screws hidden for a clean, sleek look.

Replacing Roof Tiles
Eaves trays will be installed to prevent water from getting behind your new timber base, and if necessary, we’ll replace damaged roof felt with a breathable membrane to prevent leaks. Your roof tiles will then be put back in place.

Final Touches
Once the installation is complete, we’ll install downpipes, seal all joints, and leave your brickwork clean and your new guttering shining. We’ll perform final quality checks, and follow up with a phone call to ensure you’re 100% satisfied with our work.
